NotionOps is Becoming NomiOps!

We're excited to announce that NotionOps is becoming NomiOps!

This exciting transformation keeps us aligned with Notion's new brand guidelines, and even better cater to our customer’s needs. But it’s more than a rebrand. We're rolling out a fully revamped experience specifically designed for developers! NomiOps is now a standalone product (usable with Notion or on its own), loaded with advanced yet intuitive features to streamline your development projects.

So why NomiOps? The key principle is flexibility.

Want to keep using Notion to manage everything? No problem! Notion databases will seamlessly integrate and sync with NomiOps. Generate insightful charts and embed them on your Notion pages, just like with NotionOps, and for the same great price!

Want to manage your issues in a dedicated agile interface? NomiOps gives you this option. Your data will still live in one place, but you can choose where you want to edit and view it—within Notion or NomiOps. Either way, everything stays in-sync and up-to-date. 👍

NomiOps not only gives you the flexiblity to choose the tools you want, but also the process you want—and to adjust mid-flight! Current agile tools make too many assumptions, forcing you into a particular process or template up front. We strongly believe that the best processes are fluid, emerging from the bottom-up rather than top-down.

Let self-organizing teams decide

Here are some of the ways that NomiOps as a tool will stay “out of your way”:

  • Choose when (or whether) to use sprints
  • Use tags to organize issues however you want
  • Create milestones when necessary
  • Track continual or incremental releases in the same project
  • Sync data with Notion and/or GitHub
  • Filter out noise by viewing all your to-do’s in one place

Return to the agile manifesto

We really felt it was time to put developers back in the spotlight. Modern productivity tools like Jira have become increasingly executive-focused, leading to overly complex solutions that have moved away from the agile manifesto. We aim to bring agile back to its flexible, lightweight roots. As a standalone product, NomiOps can reach more software development teams and start making a larger impact.
